Welcome to www.texasczechs.com!  To all you lovers of Czech Music and culture, these pages are for you. Here you find the lyrics to your favorite Czech songs and relive all of those Czech Phrases you heard before.  Also check out the new Texas Czechs Gift Shop.

Europe Tour June 2 - 15, 2014
FUN & ADVENTUROUS TOUR, WITH PARTIES, MINI CRUISES, SLIVOVICE AND ACCORDION MUSIC

Hungary (Budapest), Czech Republic (Prague, Kutna Hora, Zlin & Plzen), 
Germany (Nuremberg & Rudesheim), France (Paris & Normandy)

In Hungary tour the capital city Budapest with a beautiful view of the river Danube, Parliament Building, Royal Castle, Citadel, and St. Stephen's Basilica. Stop in charming Szentendre, and buy traditional Hungarian souvenirs.

In the Czech Republic visit Zlin, the Wallachian wooden village, the Jelinek distillery in Vizovice, and the Texas museum in Lichnov.  Party at Koliba Vlcina - moravian wine, beer, music and grilled chicken.  Visit the bone church in Kutna Hora.  In Prague enjoy a boat cruise on Vltava river, tour Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, and the Church of Our Lady Victorious. You will walk across the famous 14th century Charles Bridge, see Old Town & Wenceslas Square, and be treated to a Czech music and folklore show.  Then visit the town of Plzen (liberated by the American Army), and tour the brewery Pilsner Urquell.

In Germany attend a typical German party under the tent with great music and 1 liter mugs of beer!  In Nuremberg, tour the Nazi center and view Hitler's unfinished Coliseum.  Then cruise on the river Rhein, passing through beautiful countryside of vineyards and castles.

In France try the sparkling wine in the Champagne region of Reims.  In Paris, see the Eiffel Tower, Opera, Cathedral Notre Dame, and Moulin Rouge.  Also visit Caen on the Coast of Normandy, where many monuments stand, including the cemetery of American Soldiers.

In Poland tour the wonderful salt mine Wielicka.  Then enjoy sightseeing and shopping in one of the country's oldest cities, Krakow.  Also visit the birthplace of Pope John Paul II in Wadowice and see the church where he was baptized.

In the Czech Republic tour the Tatra Automobile Works in Koprivnice, see the Texas museum in Lichnov, and party at Koliba Vlcina - Moravian wine, beer, music & grilled chicken!  In Hvozdna, (East Bernard, TX sister city), see the local farm, school, sports grounds, and party with the locals at Stolarna!  In Prague enjoy a boat cruise on Vltava river, see the beautiful downtown, and walk across the famous 14th century Charles Bridge. Then be treated to a Czech music and folklore show!

In Germany visit Potsdam, which is undoubtedly one of Germany's most beautiful cities lined with palaces and historic gardens.  Then tour Berlin, one of the greatest European cities.  See the Berlin Wall, Check-point Charlie, and many other historic places.

LOTS OF MUSIC, PARTIES, OKTOBERFEST, SCENERY, KOLACE AND SLIVOVICE!!!

Italy (Rome, Venice), VaticanAustria (Salzburg, Vienna), Germany (Munich), and Czech Republic (Prague, Hostyn, Kromeriz )

In Italy tour the capital city Rome and see the ancient Colosseum, Venezia Square, Pantheon, and Basilica of St. Paul. Visit the Pope's seat at the Vatican and tour St. Peter's Cathedral & Square, Vatican Museums, and the Sistine Chapel.  In Venice, explore the city of 177 islands by foot or water bus ... or have a ride on a gondola if desired!

In Austria enjoy Salzburg, the charming city of the great musical, "Sound of Music" and birthplace of Mozart, along with amazing views of the Alps!  Also take a visit to Vienna, the capital and largest city of Austria, and see the definite mark left from the Hapsburg Dynasty.

In Germany see the unforgettable Eagles Nest mountain top, a birthday gift to Adolf Hitler from Mussolini. In Munich we'll party at the Oktoberfest and enjoy 1 liter mugs of beer, music, and rollercoasters at one of the biggest festivals in the world!

In the Czech Republic visit the church in Hostyn, a chateau in Kromeriz, visit the Tatra Automobile Works in Koprivnice, see Wallachia, party at Koliba Vlcina - moravian wine, beer, music and grilled chicken.  In Prague enjoy a boat cruise on Vltava River, tour Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, and the Church of Our Lady Victorious. You will walk across the famous 14th century Charles Bridge, see Old Town & Wenceslas Square, and be treated to an evening dinner and farewell party!
